Many would argue that sporting events are the lifeblood of our industry.

Be it the V8 racing at Philip Island, the Melbourne Cup, Olympic Games (summer, Para & Winter) or FIFA World Cup Rugby there are many structures used by the Corporate Companies to “wine and dine” their clients.

This often lavish over indulgence access to a “corporate marquee” either cements an existing business relationship, or is done in the anticipation of getting a new account.

Roder AG has the Formula One Grand Prix Paddock Contract and does 16 of the 18 races throughout the world. The bump in schedule is so critical and tight, that they have two identical sets of gear that leapfrog one another to ensure that the event proceeds. In today's event environment multi-level structures are becoming the choice of the event organisers. The reason is “more bums on seats”. The sponsors want to be seen, and the conventional rectangular structure on 2.3m legs with cable bracing restricting viewing and access just does not cut the mustard for the high end events.
