Photovoltaic cells provide events with renewable energy

Temporary Röder structures are ideal for the deployment of solar cells.

The flexible solar cell modules mould to the PVC covering.

Once again, Röder AG is setting trends with regards to innovation in the structure sector - and this also rings true in the area of renewable energy.

The large roof surfaces of the Röder structures for events and storage facilities are perfectly suited for the deployment of solar cells. Orgatent, a Röder subsidiary, has been involved in developing special PVC coverings with integrated solar modules.

These PVC coverings are equipped with extremely flexible solar cell modules. This means that the solar modules do not have to be time- and cost-intensively fixed to the roofs nor do they simply lay loosely on the roof either.

In the future, converting sunlight into electricity will provide part of the energy requirements for events - for ventilation and for lighting, for example.

Orgatent will be equipping the next event with these innovative solar tarpaulin coverings.
