The first automatic chair washer is now installed at GC Event Hire and is a blessing in disguise. “We have implemented a system where one operator can wash 90 “pipi” chairs per hour. This includes packing them in stacks of 10 with a plastic sheath over the top. We have the dirty chairs delivered in stillages to the wash bay, and when they are clean and dry we have a forklift collect the stillage and store them in the warehouse. The consistency the machine offers is what gives us peace of mind. ” said Ken the Yard Foreman at GC Event Hire.

In Melbourne we had companies asking if the machine can only wash one style of chair, but we can design and build it to perform any function required. Water usage is low, and the cost to wash each chair is greatly reduced. The turnaround is so quick we have reduced the storage space of “dirty chairs” which are a dead asset until cleaned. We have a 6.3m wide fabric washing machine on order, which will wash and dry 2 x 10m Hoecker P Series roof sections simultaneously in under 10 minutes.
